    Wednesday 3/26/14 –  Employee Retention

    An overview and discussion focused on best practices and considerations for increased employee retention.  Key points will focus on strategies, metrics and tools to drive retention of middle and high performing employees leading to a highly engaged workforce.

    What HR Professionals will learn from this presentation?

    • Why retaining your middle and high performers are important for increased employee satisfaction and better business outcomes.
    • Developing retention goals and a scorecard to measure key metrics.
    • The importance of determining turnover tipping points.
    • Implementing tactics for trust building including focus groups, employee rounding and 30/90 day follow ups.
    • Interviewing strategies that improve retention including peer interviewing and realistic job previews.
    • The importance of understanding the generational breakdown of your workforce.
    • Exit interview strategies.
    • Specific case studies of WVU Healthcare results.
