Tuesday 5/20/14 –  Uses and Advantages of Job Descriptions

The overall thrust of this presentation will center on the uses and advantages of updated job descriptions, particularly as they relate to implementing and complying with various employment laws, specifically, ADA, FMLA.  The participants will gain insight as to how job descriptions serve as the springboard for various HR transactions.  The participants learn how job descriptions benefit HR professionals in recruitment and hiring, determining eligibility for ADA, conducting performance evaluations, imposing discipline, and discharges.
