Tuesday 06/25/2019 – "HR Legal Update & What #metoo Means to You"
Objective:
This presentation will cover recent changes in state and federal labor and employment law. The second part of the presentation will cover the impact of the so-called #metoo movement on today’s workplace. We will discuss the origins of #metoo, how it has affected enforcement of laws prohibiting workplace harassment, how the law addresses sexual harassment, and effective strategies for combating sexual harassment in the workplace.
