Learning Objective:
Employers are seeking individuals who can add value to their organization. By developing a successful internship, employers can help students develop their knowledge and skills, as well as gain practical experience in their field before their job search begins. By attending the "Supervising the HR Internship" lecture, individuals will learn the benefits of an internship program and how to ensure their internship is of the highest quality while complying with the FLSA. Participants will also learn about the responsibilities an organization accepts when beginning an internship program and pitfalls to avoid.

This program is pending approval for 1.5 credit hours of general recertification credits from the HRCI and SHRM.
